Program Highlights
Students participate in an 8-week after-school program and take part in the following:
· An interactive learning environment highlighting the importance of college
· Participation and exposure to a variety ofprofessional careers
· Active participation in a learning and study skills enhancement program
· Daily refreshments and snacks
Selection Criteria
· Middle School Students
· Good academic standing and citizenship
· Interest in health, science, math, education or the arts
· Parent participation on application: Written short essay on why they want their child to go to college.
· Written essay describing themselves and their interest in going to college
