Solutions for a New Millennium
Community & Parent Involvement in Education (C-PIE)
In partnership with the Concerned African American Parents Alliance (CAAPA), parents/community members participate in workshops regarding Parent Information, Involvement and Advocacy to be able to assist in advocacy for their children and others in schools. Participants may then go on to conduct parent trainings and organize parent involvement and community engagement activities.
Parents & Communities Engaged in Education (P-CEE)
A new initiative in the Inland Empire to train residents to actively advocate and organize around issues affecting education at the local, state and national level. This initiative is being spearheaded by the partnering of BLU and COPE (Congregations Organized for Prophetic Engagement).
