Solutions for a New Millennium
The Male Involvement Program is centered on developing skills that allow young men to navigate successfully through adolescence and to produce high school graduates who enroll in and graduate from college, contribute positively to the civic culture of the nation, and stand as tangible models of success for their families and community. At the core of the program is the notion of planting seeds and facilitating the creation of a cadre of highly-trained, networked, community members to address this seemingly monumental educational roadblock. The main components of the program are:
Core Curriculum
· Leadership and Service Learning
· Dealing with Societal Realities
· Developing Proper Social Etiquette
