FINANCIAL AID
FINANCIAL AID & SCHOLARSHIPS
BLU understands that applying to and getting into college is only the beginning. We want to make sure all students in our program have access to the funds needed to pay for their degree, whether that be through loans, grants, or scholarships.
FAFSA Assistance
Federal Student Aid is the largest provider of student aid in the nation. Every year they provide more than $120 billion in federal grants, loans, and work-study funds each year. To apply, visit studentaid.gov. Need help? Fill out BLU's College Advising Help Link below.
California Dream Act Assistance
The California Dream Act Application (CADAA) allows students interested in attending eligible California colleges, universities, and career education programs to apply for state financial aid. This application is unrelated to the federal Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. To apply, visit dream.csac.ca.gov Need help? Fill out BLU's College Advising Help Link below.
Cal Grant
To qualify for this money that you don't need to pay back, you must first apply for the FAFSA or CADAA. You must also meet the minimum GPA and financial requirements. Cal grants can be used at any University of California, California State University, or California Community College, as well as other qualifying independent and career colleges or technical schools in California.
