CURATED SPACES
Curated art spaces center voices that are too often overlooked, giving communities a place to be seen, safe, and creatively free. They preserve community stories, nurture emerging talent, and shift who gets to shape culture—turning art into a powerful tool for belonging, expression, and change.
BLU 's Curated Spaces give space to Inland Empire musical performers, poets, painters, photographers, dancers and more! Programming includes the Black Arts Showcase (picutred below) and our upcoming Black Love Unlimited Poetry Slam (February 2026).

ARTS EXPOSURE
According to the National Endowment for the Arts, students who have access to the arts in or out of school also tend to have better academic results, better workforce opportunities, and more civic engagement.
BLU 's Arts Field Trips expose participants to the arts whenever possible through museums, concerts, plays, and more! Read about some of the programs BLU has visited over the last few years below.

ARTS EDUCATION
Arts education and career exposure give communities access to skills, mentors, and creative paths they’re often denied—opening doors to opportunity, expression, and representation in industries that shape culture.
At BLU we incorporate artistic expression regularly into our college & career access programming. Students have the opportunity to explore careers in the arts through our internship programs and our Purposeful Pathways career framework.
