LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT
BLU Educational Foundation believes it is important to cultivate leaders that have the heart to serve their community. We provide a series of programs to develop leaders with the intent that they contribute to the Inland Empire economy through entrepreneurship, employment, and/or volunteer service.

BLU's Institute for Civic Engagement is the cornerstone of our adult leadership development programming. Programs within the Institute for Civic Engagement include the Civic Engagement Fellowship, African American Parent Leadership Training, Black Public Officials Leadership Training, and Student Leadership Training.

Leadership programming for high school students includes bi-weekly leadership skills development workshops at our partner school sites, in addition to our SOL Brothers and Soul Sisters Leadership Academy and camps.
