CAREER PATHWAYS PROGRAMS
BLU's career pathways programs were crafted to enhance career pathways for high school and college students through policy and programming. This initiative specifically seeks to increase representation of Black, Latino, Indigenous, and Pacific Islander communities in thriving and sustainable career industries.

HEALTH & EDUCATION PATHWAYS
College Exodus to Health Professions (CEHP)
CEHP is an exciting year-long opportunity for African American high school students to learn more about the different careers available to them within the health care field. This opportunity is currently exclusive to high school students at Rialto Unified School District.
Black Educator Pipeline (BEP)
BEP is a pathway program designed to support, guide, and mentor Black students in their journey to becoming a Black educator preschool through college. This opportunity is available to all high school and college students in the Inland Empire.
PURPOSEFUL PATHWAYS FRAMEWORK
1. A-G coursework
2. Dual enrollment/college coursework (must be UC/CSU transferable)
3. Pathway leads to an industry/academic certification or degree program
4. Work-based learning opportunities connected to respective careers
5. Pathways are connected to industry partners
6. Communication & marketing is culturally responsive
7. Parent engagement and exposure to career pathways
