The JustSB Summer Internship is a workforce development program created to equip the next generation of social justice leaders in San Bernardino and the surrounding region. Originally launched in 2024 by BLU Educational Foundation as the BLUPrint Internship, the initiative provides 20–22 high school and college students with paid internship opportunities across a range of career pathways. With a focus on bridging the gap between education and employment, the program prepares young people for meaningful careers. Thanks to the generous support of the Just San Bernardino Collaborative, the internship will grow in 2025 under a new name: the JustSB Purposeful Pathways Internship.
Co-led by JustSB organizations, BLU Educational Foundation and Arts Connection – The Arts Council of San Bernardino County, the program provides professional development, internship placements, and a culminating celebration. BLU Educational Foundation manages the full scope of the program, including interviewing, training, and placing interns across the Social Justice, Health, Business, and Education pathways. Arts Connection plays a key role in placing interns within the Arts, Media, and Entertainment (AME) sector, connecting students with creative roles and organizations throughout San Bernardino.
Together, these efforts create a powerful launchpad for young people to explore their passions, build professional skills, and contribute to a more just and vibrant Inland Empire.
